Celebrating 45 years of a quality academic program, Northside Christian School proudly proclaims its premier standing among the schools of Pinellas County. NCS is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). As important as our accreditation and academic programs are, it is our loving, safe, nurturing and challenging environment that sets us apart. We seek to provide our students with the most qualified, dedicated Christian teachers possible. Our teachers are continuous learners themselves, keeping their teaching fresh and dynamic. Each share a passion for Jesus Christ and desire to meet the individual needs of his/her students. Our stated mission is to create a partnership with parents, to enable their children to reach their highest potential. We want our graduates to attend the universities of their choice, become model leaders in society and impact our world for Christ. Co-curricular offerings also create advantages for our students who are seeking excellent programs outside the classroom. From our award winning Fine Arts department to our strongly competitive Athletics program, students participate in numerous activities providing opportunities for them to excel in leadership, team work and individual achievement. NCS offers several specialized programs designed to provide successful learning for our students according to their unique learning styles. At the elementary and high school level we offer programs for the academically talented, who qualify through evaluation of intellectual ability and school performance. In our high school, a program for the kinesthetic learner provides a totally integrated hands on approach to learning which allows the students to be successful outside the traditional classroom setting. The Praxis program was developed at NCS to ensure our students the fullest measure of academic achievement.
