Northwest Florida State College is a public higher education institution serving the Okaloosa and Walton counties in the Florida Panhandle. As part of Florida's public system of 28 state and community colleges, it offers bachelor's degrees, associate degrees, and certificates to the region's students. The college is based in Niceville, where its 264-acre main campus anchors a network of campuses and centers, including a joint campus with the University of West Florida in Fort Walton Beach and facilities in DeFuniak Springs, Crestview, Hurlburt Field, and South Walton County. Facilities on the Niceville campus encompass athletic and wellness spaces, the Raider Arena, and the Mattie Kelly Fine & Performing Arts Center, along with centers focused on child development, criminal justice training, and veteran services. These assets reflect the college's role in delivering both higher education and workforce-ready training across the region. In 2025, Northwest Florida State College launched the Futures Forward summer camp to support career exploration for students.
