Nottoway is the largest remaining antebellum mansion in the Southern United States and rests grandly along Louisiana's Great River Road in White Castle, between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana in the heart of Plantation Country. This architectural jewel was built in 1859 by a wealthy Virginia planter named John Hampden Randolph for his wife and their eleven children.  Plantation tours are given daily.
