The National Reading Styles Institute is a research-based educational organization dedicated to improving literacy. Located on Long Island in Syosset, New York, NRSI offers a wide selection of Reading Styles products and employs the services of an extensive network of consultants and trainers who are located throughout the United States. Some consultants work exclusively with us, but many are working principals, staff developers, teachers, curriculum coordinators, directors, and superintendents.

The Carbo Reading Styles Program, developed by NRSI founder Marie Carbo, has received National Validations as a research-based language arts program and an outstanding school reform model that produces consistently high achievement results. NRSI consultants have trained teachers and administrators in Reading Styles methods in every state in America—through introductory and in-depth trainings, seminars, and inspirational annual national conferences. NRSI has trained more than 400,000 educators, and the program is used in thousands of schools.
