Founded in 1997, the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA) is a membership organization and school providing foundational holistic nutrition education utilizing an evidence-based curriculum backed by science that honors bio-individuality and the body’s innate intelligence. The NTA has grown into one of the country’s preeminent nutrition educators, with thousands of passionate graduates applying their training to start private practices, work alongside doctors, naturopaths, chiropractors, and holistic practitioners, write best-selling books, launch top-rated podcasts, develop corporate wellness programs, and more. All NTA courses are taught by members of the NTA’s internationally recognized faculty and content experts in the fields of functional nutrition, sports science, biochemistry, motivational interviewing, and behavior change. The NTA is dedicated to: 1) Empowering individuals: We provide students with actionable knowledge and evaluative tools to transform their health, families, communities, and careers. 2) Cultivating a community: From classes, to conferences, to meet-ups, we provide a supportive place for the tribe to learn, connect, and be themselves. 3) Healing the world: We are part of a global paradigm shift toward sustainable food, holistic healing, balanced lifestyles, and authentic relationships. The NTA offers courses to professionals looking to embark on a new career in nutritional therapy, enhance their practice with a holistic nutritional foundation, or learn the foundations of health for those who are specifically looking to improve their own health, and the health of those they love. At NTA, we believe that all nutritional schools play for the same team, in that we are each offering certificate programs to interested individuals and seeking to fill a large need for better health education. We have a shared goal of supporting wellness through proper bio-individual nutrition. Having a variety of different programs available to potential students provides better opportunity for people to find a program with the philosophy that best matches their personal beliefs and helps to legitimize the work of all organizations and their graduates. While many nutritional schools provide quality, distinct, and complementary educations, we believe our curriculum sets us apart from other schools in that we provide strong clinical skills and evaluation procedures that are unique in our industry. As a certified member of the National Association of Nutritional Professionals, we support the work of all NANP certified schools. The NTA actively seeks partnerships with other training, certification, and academic programs and is dedicated to shifting the paradigm toward more holistic and sustainable food and wellness practices.
