NYSCATE is a nonprofit professional association focused on advancing the use of technology in education within New York. It represents more than 25,000 educators and administrators who use technology across the state and collaborates with ISTE to align local practice with broader standards. Based in Latham, New York, the organization works with the New York State Education Department and other educational, private-sector, and publishing partners to shape how technology is integrated in schools and to help define statewide policy regarding technology in education. In the education technology sector, NYSCATE functions as a connector among schools, policymakers, and industry partners to support professional learning and the implementation of technology-enabled teaching. In 2026, NYSCATE announced a collaboration with CoSN to deliver a comprehensive professional learning plan for participating teachers.
