The Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to serving Oak Park, River Forest, and nearby communities. Guided by our mission and vision, we strive to advance racial justice and equity, ensuring all members of our community can thrive and prosper. -Our Vision- We imagine a racially just society where everyone is fully included, treated fairly, and has the opportunity to flourish, regardless of the circumstances of their birth or upbringing. -Our Mission- We unite community members and mobilize resources to create equitable outcomes and foster a racially just society for Oak Park, River Forest, and surrounding communities. Rooted in the core values of Equity, Inclusivity, and Courage, we provide funding, philanthropic leadership, and resource connections. We also support nonprofit excellence through technical assistance and training, helping organizations make a lasting impact. Leadership comes from within the community, with a Board of Directors bringing diverse expertise and an experienced staff working closely with individuals to align philanthropic goals with meaningful opportunities.
