Oakland Ballet Company is a nonprofit performing arts organization based in Oakland, California, that reflects the diversity of the East Bay through dance. Led by Graham Lustig since 2010, it operates a professional company, an educational program, and The Academy, and has earned Isadora Duncan awards for its work. The Academy offers training for ages 5 through 17, from beginner to pre-professional, focusing on classical ballet, artistic expression, and nurturing self-confidence in a supportive environment. In November 2023, Oakland Ballet Company partnered with Ballet Folklorico Mexico Danza of Hayward to present Viva La Vida, a piece about Frida Kahlo.
