Founded in 2005 by renowned photographer and avid diver Louie Psihoyos, OPS is headquartered in Nicasio, CA. OPS's first film, The Cove, won dozens of awards around the world, including the Oscar® for Best Documentary in 2009, and inspired over a million people to action. In Racing Extinction, OPS' second film, Academy Award® winning director Louie Psihoyos assembles a team of artists and activists that go undercover to capture never-before-seen images that reveal the threat of mass extinction and endangered species on the brink.
