OCI Beaumont LLC operates an integrated ammonia and methanol complex on a 28-acre site along the Neches River in the Beaumont area of Texas. It is the largest merchant methanol facility in North America, with permitted annual outputs of 730,000 metric tons of methanol and 265,000 metric tons of anhydrous ammonia. The Gulf Coast location provides pipeline access to nearby customers and port facilities with dedicated import and export jetties for methanol and ammonia, and the site includes substantial storage capacity: an ammonia tank of 18,000 tons and two methanol tanks of 21,000 tons each.

The plant underwent a 13-month modernization, with ammonia production beginning in December 2011 and methanol production starting in July 2012. The renovation involved a substantial number of contractors, and since resuming operations, the site maintains a local full-time workforce drawn from the Beaumont area. OCI Beaumont is owned and operated by OCI Partners LP.
