O’Gara Armoring designs manufactures, and sells highly-engineered ballistic and blast systems, creating discreet armored vehicles and products. The O’Gara legacy dates back to 1876 with Sayers & Scovill.  Today, the Fairfield, Ohio location continues that legacy with the same experienced team who built presidential limousines and is the top provider of armored vehicles to The United States Department of State. For 69-years (of an over 140 year company history), OHEAC has delivered transparent and opaque armor kits and fully assembled armored vehicles to the U.S. Government, including U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), Department of State (DoS), Department of Justice (DoJ), Department of Homeland Security. (DHS), and other Government agencies and commercial customers.  In this time, OHEAC has gone from a small business, to a part of a large business (Armor Holdings, BAE Systems), and returned as a small business.  This has given us the opportunity to work on and manage large-scale armor programs for the Government.  Since returning to a small business, we maintained many robust value-added tools and processes that mitigate risk to the customer while combining them with greater flexibility and responsiveness to cut red tape and execute efficiently.

Through our recent history, we retained many key employees, some with decades of relevant experience both on LTAS programs including FHTV and FMTV and other applicable protection kit and armor programs, while adding industry experts when needed. 

Of importance, there is only one "O'Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Company" and we are based out of Fairfield, Ohio. (Greater Cincinnati)
