The Ohio CDC Association is a state-level nonprofit that brings together Community Development Corporations across Ohio to improve neighborhoods and the quality of life for residents. It provides advocacy and capacity-building support to member agencies, enabling them to pursue initiatives in affordable housing, community economic development, engagement, financial empowerment, and food access. By coordinating with partners at national, regional, state, and local levels, it helps CDCs influence public policy and strengthen socially and economically healthy communities. Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, the organization has supported the CDC network for more than five decades. It has facilitated collaborations such as a partnership with NACEDA to host the association's 36th Annual Conference under the Strengthening Resilient Communities forum, and a connection with the Ohio Housing Finance Agency to bring housing development training to the state. The association aims to expand life opportunities for all Ohioans by fostering a robust community development environment.
