Welcome to Emerging Leaders — a community where students maximize their leadership potential by learning how to INVEST in themselves, INSPIRE others, and IMPACT the world. Emerging Leaders is a one-year, accelerated leadership development program designed for motivated Ohio University juniors and seniors who aspire to grow as values-driven leaders. Our program focuses on strengthening intrapersonal awareness and professional skill sets while mentoring members to recognize, develop, and apply their unique leadership potential. Our Mission We develop leaders who earn leadership by creating value, inspiring others to follow, and doing business with integrity. By fostering collaboration and exposing students to real-world challenges, Emerging Leaders prepares members to navigate complexity and lead with confidence. Our leaders embody the qualities of impactful role models in today’s business world — entrepreneurial, adaptable, resilient, and capable of taking disciplined risks. Above all, they lead with ethics, respect for diversity and inclusion, and an awareness of the impact they have on others.
