The Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine is a higher education institution that trains physicians, offering the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, along with dual degree programs, pre-med experiences, and continuing medical education for health professionals. Its campuses are located in Athens, Dublin, and Cleveland, with students gaining early clinical exposure during the first two years and completing third- and fourth-year clinical education at 28 partner hospitals and health facilities. The college has 3,386 alumni serving patients across most Ohio counties, in every state, and in nine countries, with 47% practicing in primary care and nearly 60% practicing in Ohio. 

Founded in 1976 with the Athens campus, it expanded to a Cleveland campus in 2015 in affiliation with the Cleveland Clinic and opened the Dublin campus in 2014 in partnership with OhioHealth. In June 2026, the institution announced a scholarship collaboration with Kettering Health to strengthen Ohio's physician workforce.
