Oiada International is a small nonprofit based in Newark, New Jersey, operating in the e-learning space since 1997. Its work centers on educational programs and services designed to help students become global citizens. The current Akoma Ntoso Cultural Centers project connects students in the United States and Africa through telepresence centers to enable live, face-to-face exchanges.

The initiative aims to raise test scores, reduce drop-out rates, and narrow the achievement gap by enriching language arts, writing, public speaking, presentation, research, foreign language, and critical thinking skills. It also supports teachers seeking accelerated, global, experiential learning and empowers students to take charge of their education and preparation for college and the workforce.
