Okinawa Autotech was established with the goal to make 'India' a major player in electric and sustainable mobility. Driven by their passion for innovation and making a difference, Mr. Jeetender Sharma - MD, and Mrs. Rupali Sharma - Chairperson, started Okinawa in 2015. Since then, the Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturing company has been living by the philosophy of 'Made for India, in India’ and placing India on the global EV map. Okinawa’s indigenous EV products such as RIDGE+, PRAISE PRO, IPRAISE+, OKHI-90, R30, and LITE, etc. have proven to be a viable alternative to petrol & diesel vehicles and push the envelope on the sustainability agenda. Moreover, Okinawa’s retail footprint, which entails over 350+ dealers across the country, makes EVs accessible to millions of Indians. 

Our Motto of “Make in India” and “Localization” made us the First Indian company to get a FAME II subsidy from the Government of India & we are officially the first EV OEM to be IATF certified for design & manufacturing. We take great pride in delivering high-performance and future-ready energy-efficient vehicles. Okinawa Autotech is the only EV company till date to reach Khardung La Pass, Leh Ladakh (from Gurugram), which is the highest motorable road in the world at 18,000+ feet.

The success of Okinawa has put all the arguments about the feasibility of EVs in the country at rest. By offering features such as detachable batteries, fast charging, central locking, app connectivity, etc. in high-speed scooters, Okinawa makes sure that people do not miss anything when they move from IC engines to EVs. This has made us achieve some remarkable tie-ups and tenders with the Indian Navy, Delhi Transport Corporation, Tirupati Smart City, and Awards like Best Electric Two-Wheeler Company – MSME, Best Electric Scooter Green Award – NDTV, New Electric Two-Wheeler of the Year – DROOM.
