The Old Pasadena Management District is a nonprofit organization that oversees the Old Pasadena Business Improvement District, with the aim of maintaining a distinctive downtown experience in Pasadena, California. Working with the City of Pasadena, it funds district-wide security, marketing, and maintenance programs to enhance safety, cleanliness, and vibrancy. Operations are financed through annual assessments on privately owned commercial property, and the BID was established in 2000 and renewed in 2015. The district spans 21 blocks within a National Register Historic District and includes two historic public parks, and governance relies on merchants, property owners, residents, tenants, and city management under 17 volunteer directors and professional staff. In 2020, the organization launched the commUNITY campaign to highlight the district's resilience.
