Omaha Public Schools is the largest school district in the state of Nebraska serving over 54,000 students in grades K-12. Our district has 83 schools and 13 alternative programs across Douglas and Sarpy Counties. Programs include Omaha Virtual School, Special Education and English Learners. 

Our district is the third-largest employer in the state, with more than 7,000 full-time employees who are involved in the daily operation of our schools. Teachers, bus drivers, nutrition staff, paraprofessionals, operations and other staff are all an essential part of educating students. No matter your interest, Omaha Public Schools has a career opportunity for just about everyone.
