Omniprobe, Inc., a world leader in FIB and SEM accessories enabling "nano-lab"​ capabilities, was acquired by Oxford Instruments in 2011. In 2015, full integration was implemented with design and manufacturing moving from Dallas to High Wycombe, UK. Products include nanomanipulation solutions for electrical/mechanical testing and sample preparation, as well as a multi-gas injector system for deposition and etching in the SEM or FIB. The original flagship product, arising from a Texas Instruments research project, is the OmniProbe nanomanipulator for TEM sample prep via the "​in situ lift-out"​ method. The OmniGIS opens new horizons for in situ research and enables new research approaches, such as performing atomic layer deposition (ALD) in the FIB or SEM.
