Shootings in schools have grown to epidemic levels.  On average, there is a shooting every month during the school year in the US schools. A new, unobtrusive, affordable technology automating and managing the response to threats is critically needed to help protect our children and teachers.   

Onalert  is a technology company formed for the purpose of developing, manufacturing and selling a unique and patent pending technology system called Automated Emergency Response System or A.E.R.E.S.   The system is designed to save lives by detecting and automating the first response to weapon fire in our schools.   A.E.R.E.S. instantly detects weapon-fire and determines the location of the threat within a school. It immediately sends emergency  messaging notification to teachers, administrators and aw enforcement personnel, providing them with a diagram of the school and the shooter’s location.  Simultaneously, it opens a messaging channel between school staff and all first responders in route to the school.  Future product releases will add more active countermeasures designed to detect the presence of weapons and automatically launch countermeasures to neutralize threat before first responders arrive.
