Oogie Art is one of the first, largest, and most successful art portfolio development schools in the United States. We provide design and host innovative art-centered programs that guide students, in the words of Mayor Bloomberg, to “greater heights of artistic creation.” Students find our approach so effective that many travel across the globe each year to submit their art portfolios under our guidance. “Teacher’s Certificate of Recognition” awarded by The Alliance for Young Artists for being an ‘outstanding educator whose dedication, commitment, and guidance are represented by student work selected for national honors’ in the 2003, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 more than 823 of my students have won Gold and Silver Keys from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, 9 of my students have won YoungArts National Awards, 20 of my students have gained admission to the Marie Walsh Sharpe Foundation Program. (only 60 junior students get accepted every year in the country) In addition, Personal Letter of Recognition from Richard P. Mills, President of the University of the State of New York and the New York Commissioner of Education, Personal Letter of Recognition from Jerrold Nadler, Member of the United States Congress. In fact, Oogie Art has helped hundreds of students gain admission to top programs at Duke, Georgetown, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, Cooper Union, NYU, RISD, SAIC, FIT, Pratt, Parsons and SVA and 35 of my students have gained admission to Ivy League Schools including Harvard, UPenn, Columbia, Dartmouth, Cornell, Princeton, Brown University, Yale University, and Stanford University with over $35 million in scholarships over the past ten years. Finally, College Board approved Oogie Art AP Studio Art Drawing and 2D Design course, allowing our students can earn up to 6 college credits while in their high school years at Oogie Art and we also can issue I-20 student Vida.
