Ooredoo Tunisie is a telecommunications company based in Tunis, Tunisia, and the Tunisian subsidiary of the Ooredoo Group, formerly known as Tunisiana until the rebranding on 24 April 2014. It operates as a leading mobile operator in Tunisia and a key player in the country’s new technologies sector, with a focus on customer service. The company began commercial operations on 27 December 2002 as Tunisiana, and it launched 3G services in July 2012, serving more than 6.6 million subscribers and covering 48% of the population. By 2014 its network extended to about 90% of the population, deploying an HSPA+ network on 900 MHz and 2100 MHz with speeds up to 42 Mbps. In the 2020s, Ooredoo Tunisie engaged in network modernization and expansion projects, including a 2023 agreement with Nokia to upgrade radio access networks in Tunisia and Algeria and a partnership with Inside Telecom; it launched 5G services in 2025, and in 2026 was named Customer Service of the Year for the seventh consecutive year.
