Open Minds Child Development Center’s mission is to provide a high quality early childhood education, that prepares students for global experiences at an early age. In providing quality education we work to retain educated and experienced staff who understand the importance of a firm educational foundation, rooted in academic and non-academic experiences. Philosophy

This program is designed to meet the developmental needs of young children. It provides experiences that enrich and enhance each child’s cognitive, social, emotional, language, physical and creative development. Within the program’s daily schedule, each child will have the opportunity to create, explore, problem solve, and learn social skills and academic concepts through first hand experiences. Children will develop a positive self-image and a lifetime love of learning through independent opportunities and teacher directed activities. Teachers serve as researchers that learn each child’s interest and needs, to teach accordingly. They model behaviors that children can mimic and exhibit positively. We respect parents as the primary and most important provider of care, and we believe that parents and teachers are partners in providing a warm, supportive, and nurturing environment in which a child can grow.
