The Centre for open electronic publishing (Cléo – UMS 3287) is a unit supported by the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), the Graduate School of Social Sciences (EHESS), the University of Provence and the University of Avignon. The Cléo promotes the developement of electronic publishing in the humanities and social sciences and takes part in the dissemination of scientific knowledge. The Cléo consists of four departments: direction, publishing, academic information, IT. The Cléo develops OpenEdition an international-scale publication and information portal in the humanities and social sciences that brings together Revues.org (journal and book platform), Calenda (academic announcement platform), Hypotheses.org (blog platform). Offices are in Marseilles, Paris and Lisbon.
