The focus of the clinical decision support for OptimisPT is to guide therapists to assist their clients with common musculoskeletal disorders to improve their movement and function while performing household, community, and occupational tasks. OptimisSport builds upon this foundation. The focus of the clinical decision support for OptimisSport is to guide therapists to assist their clients to improve their movement and performance in fitness, recreational, and sport-related activities. World-renowned experts in fitness, obesity treatment, strength and conditioning, sports-specific rehabilitation, and elite performance training all infused their knowledge into OptimisSport programs. Our teams of experts developing OptimisSport include leading researchers and clinicians. Including real evidence-based and scientifically proven treatment plans gives OptimisSport programs more credibility than other performance and weight loss programs. OptimisSport utilizes the same core software as OptimisPT and will be launched on November 3, 2010. The three main content areas of the clinical decision and performance support provided in OptimisSport are (1) Physiological / Metabolic Optimization, (2) Physical Impairment Assessment and Management, and (3) Movement Analysis and Skill / Performance Enhancement.
