Based in Salem, Oregon, the Oregon Home Builders Association is a small nonprofit trade organization within the construction sector, founded in 1964. It brings together builders, remodelers, material suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, lending institutions, utilities and others involved in housing and building-related fields. The association acts as an advocate for the industry, providing government relations work, educational opportunities, and resources for both builders and consumers. 

The organization serves its diverse membership by coordinating policy input and delivering information and education relevant to housing and building activities. In April 2020, OHBA partnered with state safety and licensing bodies—the Oregon OSHA and the Oregon Construction Contractors Board—to develop a comprehensive set of COVID-19 jobsite safety recommendations.
