Organic Mechanics Soil Company, LLC operates in the horticulture sector as a manufacturer and distributor of organic potting soils, soil amendments, and fertilizers for both professional and consumer gardening communities. Based in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, it serves retail channels through independent garden centers, houseplant shops, natural food stores, and indoor gardening stores, while its wholesale products are shipped to farms, growers, and landscape companies. Its reach spans most of the United States, from the East Coast to the Southwest.

The company emphasizes environmental sustainability and regenerative gardening practices. Operational choices include using compost and coconut coir instead of peat, powering equipment with biodiesel, and prioritizing recycled products and local ingredients whenever possible. In February 2025, Organic Mechanics introduced 110 Blend, a biochar-enhanced potting soil designed for cannabis cultivation, landscape architecture, greenhouse production, and retail garden centers.
