Orion GMP Solutions is a Pharmaceutical Process Engineering Firm founded in 2015, and is a veteran-owned small business. Our background is firmly rooted in Pharmaceutical Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). We assist our clients in developing their GMPs and QMSs so they can efficiently run their businesses with a strong focus on quality and adherence to applicable regulations.  

Our Expertise includes pharmaceutical manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients utilizing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Control (Analytical) chemistry utilizing FDA 21 CFR 210/211 and ICH Q7 GMP guidelines; and most recently, establishment of cannabis focused Pharmaceutical Quality Management Systems incorporating 21 CFR 210/211 and ICH Q7/Q10 GMP guidelines and Lean Six Sigma principles into cannabis product manufacturing processes.

Our team has 25+ years of industrial experience in fields of engineering and science with formal training and advanced degrees in those fields. Our industry credentials include Six Sigma Black Belt, OSHA HAZWOPER Certifications, ISO/FDA/NELAC Auditing, Executive Committee positions on the ASTM International D37 Cannabis Standards Committee, Project Management, and publications in peer-reviewed journals and invited talks at national and international symposia.

Orion continues to develop international relationships with experts and marquee clients across the industry. We are committed to internationally harmonized industry standards that protect consumer safety as demonstrated through our leadership positions within the D37 Cannabis Standards Committee of ASTM International, a standards development organization with over 30,000 members from over 140 countries.
