The Osage Nation is a sovereign tribal government based in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, serving a population of more than 25,000 members. Operating within the government administration field, it provides governance and public-service functions for its citizens. In 2024, the Nation gained concurrent jurisdiction over 43,000 acres of fee-to-trust land now known as the Osage Nation Ranch.

The organization outlines its priorities through a strategic plan update published for 2026–2030. Osage LLC has engaged in partnerships and development activities, including a collaboration with the University of Tulsa to expand higher education opportunities for Osage students and plans for a casino and resort project at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri.
