In our commercial litigation practice we represent businesses and individuals in complex disputes, such as contract disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, unfair trade practice, unfair competition, misappropriation of trademarks, commercial defamation, product liability litigation, as well as securities, investment products and other financial services and financial products litigation.

The lawyers in our insurance litigation practice represent corporate and individual insurance policyholders in insurance disputes to maximize the recovery of insurance coverage and benefits under insurance policies which are intended to protect against exposure to liability damages, expenses and losses, including: director and officer and entity liability, commercial liability, professional errors and omissions liability, business interruption loss, property loss, disability benefits and loss of life.

Our employment lawyers work with management clients to design and implement policies that foster productive and compliant workplaces, to train management and employees in best practices, to problem-solve when issues arise, and to achieve optimal outcomes if litigation becomes necessary. We also assist individual employees with negotiating employment contracts, restrictive covenants, severance agreements, and employment-related rights.

Our regulatory practice includes representing businesses and individuals in a wide range of regulatory investigations and litigation involving Connecticut state agencies, federal government investigations and proceedings before self-regulatory organizations such as FINRA.
