Oswego Health is a mid-sized health system based in Oswego, New York, with roots dating to 1881 when local residents formed a hospital to improve access to care for all, aiming to combine skilled physicians with modern technology. The system comprises Oswego Hospital, a 164-bed facility delivering acute medical, emergency, surgical, maternity and behavioral health services; The Manor at Seneca Hill, offering 24-hour skilled nursing, rehabilitation and an adult day health program; and Springside at Seneca Hill, a retirement community for independent seniors. Over the years it expanded its network in Central New York, adding urgent care, laboratory and imaging services at Fulton Medical Center in 2009 and at Central Square Medical Center the following year. In January 2026, the organization extended its footprint into Onondaga County with a Clay location, marking its first expansion outside its traditional service area. The health system continues to pursue new programs and community initiatives to address local health needs, including mental health and wellness services and family support efforts such as Wellness Wednesdays and The Nest.
