OUR Center is a Colorado-based nonprofit that unifies community resources to help people move toward self-sufficiency. Founded in 1986 and based in Longmont, it operates the Aspen Center for Child Development and offers services such as a food pantry, daily meals, a clothing bank, homelessness support, and homelessness prevention, supported by case management, mentoring, and educational classes. The organization serves residents of the greater Longmont area, aiming to connect individuals with resources to improve stability and community contribution, while engaging a sizable volunteer network and partnerships that broaden its service reach. Its work sits within the nonprofit sector focused on basic needs and self-sufficiency, emphasizing direct client services and programmatic support to vulnerable populations. A recent development includes the opening of a new facility in Longmont to expand its service footprint and the launch of Resource Now, a walk-in option to connect with a Resource Specialist.
