Our Hospice of South Central Indiana is a not-for-profit, community-based hospice provider serving southern Indiana since 1980. It operates across a 16-county region with three local offices in Columbus, Greensburg, and North Vernon, and is headquartered in Columbus. The organization is certified by Medicare and Medicaid and licensed to deliver hospice services in Indiana, using a family-centered, multidisciplinary team to help people with life-limiting illnesses manage symptoms and maintain independence. Its Columbus-based Hospice Center Inpatient Facility, opened in 2004, includes dedicated spaces for patients and families as part of the care continuum, while home-based services extend care across the 16 counties. In 2025 the organization received the Hospice CAHPS Honors Award for excellence in patient experience.
