The human-powered outdoor recreation community has a direct and intensely personal interest in the conservation of our public lands. We are often the first to notice when something is wrong in our outdoor landscapes, and we are highly motivated to protect these places and the experiences they offer.

Outdoor Alliance brings together the voices of the recreation community to protect our public lands and ensure that they are managed in a way that embraces the human-powered experience. Outdoor Alliance is a coalition of organizations that include American Whitewater, American Canoe Association, Access Fund, International Mountain Bicycling Association, Winter Wildlands Alliance, and the Mountaineers. 

We are backcountry skiers, hikers, paddlers, mountain bikers, boaters, and climbers who share a commitment to protecting public lands. In uniting our voices, we are building and nurturing a conservation constituency for the 21st century.
