Over and Above Africa is a philanthropic fundraising organization based in Marina del Rey, California, focused on connecting global donors with anti-poaching initiatives in Africa. The group operates on a model called Affordable Philanthropy™, where members contribute a small monthly subscription that is pooled to fund targeted conservation projects, which are then documented and shared with members to illustrate the on-the-ground impact. Its core aim is to personalize the experience of wildlife protection and reduce the disconnect between giving and visible action in conservation efforts. The organization positions itself within the philanthropic fundraising services space, addressing the demand for transparent, accountable support for endangered species protection across Africa. With a small team, it provides a direct conduit from donors to vetted anti-poaching work and communicates the outcomes of funded efforts to its community.
