Owens Valley Career Development Center started in 1976 as a small business focused on providing more career opportunities for Native Americans. As the company began to grow and branch into other areas, the number of Sovereign Nations within its consortium also began to grow.

Nowadays, OVCDC is a multifaceted business reaching into all aspects of social services and educational services, as well as economic development markets, providing Native American communities with a mechanism for bettering quality of life.
