Pacific Building Systems is a privately held manufacturer of steel structures based in Woodburn, Oregon, with roots dating back to 1962. It serves the wholesale building materials market by delivering custom engineered steel buildings and guiding projects from design through shipment and erection consultation, while not performing field construction. Ownership participates in day-to-day operations, enabling quick decisions aimed at on-time delivery and high quality. The Woodburn facility houses the management, sales, estimating, engineering, detailing, purchasing, manufacturing, staging, and shipping functions necessary to support its operations.

Its customers are clients seeking tailored steel-building solutions who rely on a full range of services, including budgeting, design, engineering, detailing, manufacturing, and logistics, up to erection consultation. This positions PBS within the wholesale building materials industry as a specialized provider focused on engineered steel structures rather than on-site construction. The company is based in Woodburn, Oregon, and operates as a mid-sized enterprise in this sector. In May 2024, Pacific Building Systems appointed Brant Smith as chief executive officer, reflecting a recent leadership change.
