The Pacific Climate Change Centre is a government-administered organization based in Samoa with a workforce in the hundreds. It engages in partnerships with regional institutions to develop and deploy climate services and related digital capabilities, including collaborations with universities and meteorological services. In September 2025, during the 32nd SPREP Meeting in Samoa, the centre launched a virtual platform called the Pacific Climate Change Innovation Lounge to host climate-change dialogue and innovation. Its collaborations include a memorandum of understanding with the University of Canterbury, and joint work with Kiribati and Samoa Meteorological Services as part of the ClimSA Pacific programme. It has pursued digital resilience initiatives through partnerships with GSMA, reflecting a regional emphasis on climate information, forecasting, and resilience.
