The Pacific Forest and Watershed Lands Stewardship Council is a private, nonprofit foundation based in Roseville, California, established in 2004 as part of a PG&E settlement. The organization operates two programs: a Land Conservation Program aimed at safeguarding more than 140,000 acres of California’s watershed lands for public benefit, and a Youth Investment Program that supports outdoor initiatives for California’s young people. Serving a philanthropic and conservation-focused sector, it targets partners and stakeholders involved in land stewardship, watershed protection, and youth outdoor education, addressing the need to conserve natural resources while expanding opportunities for youth engagement with the outdoors. Positioned within the broader environmental and philanthropic landscape, the Stewardship Council collaborates to advance conservation outcomes and community programs through its programs and partnerships.
