Pacific Medical Transcription (PMT) is located in the Richmond District of San Francisco and has served the San Francisco Medical community, acute care facilities, specialty clinics, and individual practitioners for over 25 years. PMT's experienced staff produces the highest quality medical transcription using current technology and is responsive to the special needs of clients. PMT has two goals: • To provide the highest quality medical transcription to our clients; • To maintain high ethical standards and to continue mutually rewarding relationships with our clients, our employees, and the communities we serve. In regard to ethical considerations, PMT never has and never intends to outsource or subcontract medical transcription overseas or even outside the company. Security, confidentiality and quality of medical documents, including full compliance with HIPAA regulations, are thus assured. Currently, PMT provides medical transcription services to governmental agencies such as the San Francisco Medical Examiner's Office, the San Francisco Department of Public Health and private practitioners. Over the years, PMT's clients have included the Health Information Services for Medical Records of San Francisco General Hospital Medical Services, the University of California San Francisco Medical Center, Mount Zion acute care facilities, and others. PMT uses Windows 10/LAN network platform and the FutureNet Technologies voice, telephone, and data management system, which integrates other peripheral technology and the appropriate software applications. In addition to experienced management and transcription personnel, PMT's staff includes an IT Manager and Computer consultant.
