Effective June 6, 2023, the Pacific Northwest Regional Council of Carpenters merged with the Western States Regional Council of Carpenters, an affiliate of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, and represents over 100,000 men and women working in the Carpentry trades throughout the western United States.

Our Union was founded in 1881 and has since been the premiere construction trade Union which strongly emphasizes training the highest-skilled Carpenters in the country. We aim to provide a professional workforce with the leading-edge skills and knowledge to complete any project, large or small, with the quality, speed, and pride expected from our industry partners.
We are carpenters, piledrivers, drywallers, millwrights, trade show workers, shipwrights, exterior/interior specialists, scaffold erectors, insulators, and related craft workers who have banded together to maintain and improve Safety, Wages, Benefits, Training, and Working Conditions for all Carpenters working in the trade.
