Paine Art Center and Gardens operates as a historic estate that combines art, gardens, and public programming. Based in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the organization preserves the mansion as the centerpiece, including interiors created by founders Nathan and Jessie Kimberly Paine. The collection features works largely acquired by the Paine founders, displayed throughout the mansion, while the surrounding display gardens act as living galleries of horticulture. The center offers changing art exhibitions and a range of year-round programs in the carriage house and conservatory. It collaborates with local institutions on arts education, including a partnership with the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and the Oshkosh Area School District to create ArtsCore Adventures, and it celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2023 while receiving a Governor’s Tourism Award in 2024.
