Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute (PCEI) is a small nonprofit organization based in Moscow, Idaho, serving the Palouse-Clearwater region and focused on environmental services. Its mission is to increase citizen involvement in decisions that affect the area's environment. The organization pursues this through local organizing and educational efforts that help residents weigh environmental and economic factors to support a sustainable future. Its primary aims include improving ecological health and social welfare, conserving and restoring sensitive lands and ecosystems, facilitating open public forums, and informing the community on issues critical to regional sustainability.

Beyond its own initiatives, PCEI has supported the formation of several regional nonprofit organizations, including Idaho Smart Growth and Moscow Community Garden. Recent activity reflects ongoing collaborations with external partners, such as a September 2023 fundraising event conducted in partnership with Pour Company and a January 2021 collaboration with Rdesign.
