The University of Florida is proud to be home to a vibrant and thriving Greek community. The Panhellenic Council serves as the governing body for 18 National Panhellenic Conference sororities, representing over 5,000 women. With a focus on empowering women and fostering personal and academic development, UF Panhellenic promotes leadership, inclusion, community service, and high scholastic standards. Each chapter averages 300 members and typically hosts philanthropic events annually that support national or local causes. Most Panhellenic chapters have houses located on or near Sorority Row, housing 40–60 members and offering on-site dining and community living experiences. Chapter operations are guided by national advisors and local leadership teams, while the Panhellenic Executive Board provides oversight and support to all member organizations.
