Pantomime Corporation, with headquarters in Sebastopol, California, was founded in April 2014 by virtual reality pioneer Dr. David Levitt, Don Hopkins, core programmer for The Sims, and a dozen investors.

Pantomime won the Launch Silicon Valley World Cup Challenge in the Digital Media / Mobile category.  The firm was granted its first patent for unique methods of reaching into virtual worlds, displaying and navigating augmented reality scenes with mobile devices.

When Apple introduced LiDAR on iPad Pros and iPhone Pros in 2020, Pantomime began developing its Kinetic Augmented Reality platform.  The Reality Construction Kit platform provides physically realistic interaction with virtual objects and tools attached to and emerging from the user’s devices.

The Reality Construction Kit app, with free and paid in-app purchases, provides an extensible kit for introducing dynamic objects into augmented reality with stunningly realistic interactive behavior, lighting and directional sound.  

Applications of the platform include entertainment, realistic games and puzzles; mechanical design, simulation, training and testing; branded placement in real locations, dynamic product demonstrations; and much more.  Pantomime will partner with third party developers to deploy and extend the platform.
