A bit of history: In 1988 with the thought of the American Dream the founders came from Jerusalem on a trip to New York City, and found work at the locksmith business. The company began providing locksmith services in Manhattan, gradually growing it customer base when in 1996 with the addition of the third partner, they purchased 2 more existing locations (Citi Locksmith at 843 2nd Avenue and Ultra Locksmith at 149 Church Street), to establish Paragon as a leader in the industry. With the entrepreneur and innovative approach the partners went on to open additional stores expanding into Hardware and House-ware retail known today as Basics Plus, with 7 retail locations and Paragon Security service center in each of the stores.
