Parenting Place is a non-profit organisation providing trusted parent education in Aotearoa New Zealand. Since 1993, we’ve journeyed with parents from the time their pēpē are born, right through to adulthood, supporting them through key transitions and tricky seasons - as well as the highs, lows and everydays of family life. We inspire, equip and support parents with practical, relatable parenting advice and strategies through: 💻 Online self-guided parenting courses: available 24/7 including - Digital Parenting - Strong-Willed Child - Untangling Anxiety 👩🏽💻 1:1 Parent Coaching: available online, or in-person for Auckland families 🏫 Parenting Talks: in schools, kindergartens, ECEs, community centres and workplaces across New Zealand 📲 Free resources through our @parentingplacenz social channels and parentingplace.nz articles 🎙️ Parents We've Met podcast, featuring well-known New Zealanders and parenting specialists 📺 Media interviews across radio, TV, print, podcasts and digital channels Parenting Place also creates content for parenting courses facilitated by community partners, including: 🧑🍼 Space: for you and your baby: a 20-40 week course to support parents in the first year of their child's life 🛠️ Toolbox Preschool Years, Toolbox Primary Years and Toolbox Teenage Years: a six-week age+stage specific parenting course covering the practical, emotional and relational aspects of parent life including: love and connection, understanding yourself as a parent, understanding our children and the world they live in 🌿 Building Awesome Whānau: a six-to-eight week course which draws from mātauranga Māori and the latest research to support whānau in a uniquely Aotearoa context
