Parkridge Private School is a small educational institution located in Long Beach, California, that provides flexible learning pathways outside traditional schooling. Founded in 1987, it draws on the experience of its founders, administrators, and teachers in education alternatives, curriculum design, instructional delivery, and educational administration. The school offers three main programs: Project Diploma, which enables adults to complete high school coursework and earn an accredited diploma; an Independent Study K-12 option that pairs guided instruction with home-based work; and a Credit Recovery program that helps high school students make up missed or failed courses toward completion.

Its programs primarily serve adult learners pursuing a diploma and high school students who need flexible study arrangements or credit recovery. In its sector, the school positions itself as an alternative pathway within education administration, supported by a small team delivering instruction and oversight.
