Parkway Schools is a public K–12 district based in Chesterfield, Missouri, in the suburban St. Louis area. It educates roughly 17,500 students across its early childhood program and a network of 18 elementary schools, five middle schools, four high schools, and one non-traditional high school. The district employs a substantial workforce to support a diverse student body and a broad range of academic programs. Its stated mission is to ensure all students become capable, curious, and confident learners who can meet the challenges of an ever-changing world. The district and its community receive recognition at state and national levels for academic and professional achievements. In 2024, Parkway Schools launched the South Area Early Childhood Workgroup to explore short-term solutions to expand early childhood capacity and access for families in the southern portion of the district.
