Parliamentarians for Global Action (PGA) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization operating in the international affairs space, linking approximately 1,350 legislators across more than 143 elected parliaments. The organization is based in New York at 132 Nassau Street Suite 1419, New York 10038, United States, and has a staff of 11-50 employees. Founded in 1978-1979, PGA aims to inform and mobilize parliamentarians to advocate for human rights, the rule of law, democracy, human security, non-discrimination, and gender equality. Membership is open to individual legislators from elected parliaments. PGA has launched and participated in several initiatives and events, including the Parliamentary Rapid Response Team (launched in 2020), the Escazú Agreement Toolkit for Parliamentarians (launched 2025), the Global Parliamentary Initiative on Responsible Artificial Intelligence (launched 2025), and participation in the 46th Annual Forum and CAP-Oceans in 2026.
